Edinburgh Psych Fest 2026 First Wave Lineup is Revealed

Edinburgh Psych Fest announces Stereolab, Model/Actriz, Gwenno, GHOSTWOMAN, The Mystery Lights & more for the 2026 festival.

Following a hugely successful 2025 edition, Edinburgh Psych Fest has officially announced its return to Scotland’s capital on Sunday, September 6th, 2026. As the sister event to Manchester Psych Fest—the UK’s leading psychedelic music and arts festival—this one-day takeover is set to transform multiple venues across the city with a celebration of mind-bending sounds and trippy visuals.

The festival has unveiled an ambitious first wave of acts for its fourth installment, led by electronic-synth-pop icons Stereolab. Joining them at the top of the bill are Brooklyn post-punks Model/Actriz, Welsh psychedelic synth-pop favorite Gwenno, and the garage-rock energy of GHOSTWOMAN. The 1960s-inspired psychedelic rockers The Mystery Lights also join the initial lineup, ensuring a diverse range of psych-influenced genres.

The 2026 roster continues to expand with an eclectic mix of emerging talent and established underground acts. Attendees can look forward to performances from synth-pop six-piece Adult DVD, LA’s lo-fi-psych-drone-pop singer-songwriter Lael Neale, and the dark-pop textures of Dog Race. The lineup is further bolstered by noise-rockers Makeshift Art Bar, the heavy alt-grunge of Bleech, and the pop-rock melodies of Floral Image.

Scotland’s local scene is also well-represented in this first announcement. Electro duo Roller Disco Death Party, post-punk-alt-rockers National Playboys, and the psych-shoegaze five-piece Sunstinger are all confirmed to perform. Beyond the live music, the festival will feature curated DJ sets, local food stalls, and a pop-up record store, with many more names still to be announced in the coming months.

Public demand has already seen early bird tickets priced at £27.50 and £35 sell out entirely. General admission tickets are currently available for £40, with a discounted rate of £32 offered to Under 24s and NHS staff.
