Edinburgh Psych Fest annouces first wave of acts

Edinburgh Psych Fest announces Pigs x7, Temples, NewDad, Juniore & more for the 2024 festival.

Edinburgh Psych Fest, the sister festival to the UK’s leading Psychedelic music and arts festival Manchester Psych Fest, returns to Scotland’s capital on Sunday 1st September after the sell-out success of its inaugural year. 

The psychedelic and psychedelic-influenced festival’s second instalment will bring doom-psych-metal outfit Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, neo-psych-rockers Temples, Irish shoegazers NewDad, retro-indie-psych-pop three piece Juniore and psychedelic rock-and-rollers The Bug Club to Edinburgh this September

Indie-pop quintet Divorce, DIY trio HotWax, hazy-indie-infused folk singer-songwriter Molly Payton, dream-like alt-country singer and Lana Del Ray collaborator Holly Macve, synth-psych-punkers Crush Of Souls and Edinburgh’s psych-rock-shoegaze outfit Puppy Teeth complete the first wave announcement. 

Taking place across Summerhall and the new 2024 venue addition, The Queen’s Hall, the festival promises another unforgettable day filled with mind-bending sounds, trippy visuals and a celebration of all things psychedelic.
