Perfume Genius brought his Glory tour to Glasgow’s SWG3 TV Studio, delivering a mesmerising night filled with emotion and beauty.
The show celebrated the new album while weaving together older favourites and fresh material. The set included well-loved hits Slip Away and On the Floor, alongside new songs It’s a Mirror and No Front Teeth, which showcased Mike Hadreas’s magnetic stage presence—at one point he moved gracefully across a chair, owning centre stage with a mix of elegance and raw emotion.

A beautiful solo performance of Me & Angel on piano was a highlight, showcasing themes of vulnerability, desire, and longing that ran throughout the set. The music’s surreal and dreamlike sounds created an atmosphere that felt both otherworldly and deeply human.
The main set ended dramatically with the moody, crunchy My Body, before Perfume Genius returned for an encore—first offering a delicate cover of Mazzy Star’s Fade Into You, then finishing on a high with the ethereal Queen. It was a stunning performance that balanced tenderness and power in equal measure.
