Psych Fest to land in Edinburgh for the first time this September

Edinburgh Psych Fest, the sister festival to the UK’s leading Psychedelic music
and arts festival Manchester Psych Fest will launch this September with the
inaugural event set to take place across the city’s iconic Summerhall venue.

The new psychedelic and psychedelic-influenced music festival will be headlined by N.Y.C’s Bodega with their unique blend of post-punk and art-rock, alongside London’s Sorry known for their eclectic mix of indie-grunge electronica.

Joining Bodega & Sorry on the day will be dreamy psych-shoegaze outfit bdrmm, psych-post-punk five-piece Ulrika Spacek, hotly tipped psychedelic-infused goth-post-punk singer-songwriter Heartworms, Swiss psych-jazz band L’Eclair, the Industrial-psych sounds of TVAM, indie-60’s-psych band The Dream Machine and psychedelic cosmo-funk ensemble Takehsi’s Cashew.

Edinburgh Psych Fest will also showcase some of Scotland’s best local talent with The Kundalini Genie, Bikini Body, No Windows, Isabella Strange, Dinosaur 94, Cosmic Eyes and the Colliders and DJ sets, courtesy of online community radio station EHFM, completing the lineup.
