The National had just released their 7th Studio Album, ‘Sleep Well Beast’ when they took up a two night residency at Edinburgh’s iconic Usher Hall. RESOUND photographer Calum Mackintosh was lucky enough to be there for the second of these legendary gigs.
They proved themselves to be a band at the peak of their powers and with charismatic frontman, Matt Berninger there’s always unpredictable edge to their performances as he tends to go walkabout mid set. This evening was no exception.
