TRNSMT Festival 2025: First Acts Announced

Scotland’s biggest music festival, TRNSMT, is set to return to Glasgow Green from 11th–13th July 2025, with an electrifying lineup featuring global superstars, rising talent, and homegrown legends.

Among the first wave of acts announced are headliners 50 Cent, Biffy Clyro, and Snow Patrol, alongside crowd favourites like Fontaines D.C., The Script, and Gracie Abrams.

With a record-breaking sell-out in 2024, TRNSMT 2025 promises to deliver another unforgettable experience for 150,000 music fans over three days.

Opening Day: 50 Cent Leads a Star-Studded Friday

Rap icon 50 Cent will kick off the festival on Friday, becoming the first rapper to headline TRNSMT since Stormzy in 2019. Fresh off his Las Vegas residency, the Grammy winner’s performance is set to be a historic moment for the festival. Supporting him are Irish hitmakers The Script, indie rock duo Wet Leg, and Irish rap group Kneecap, known for their energetic and provocative performances.

Friday’s bill also features Glasgow’s own Twin Atlantic, singer-songwriter Jamie Webster, and dance-pop sensations Confidence Man, ensuring a dynamic mix of genres.

Saturday: Homegrown Legends and Fontaines D.C.

Scottish rock titans Biffy Clyro will headline Saturday with their festival-ready anthems and a career-spanning setlist. Joining them are Fontaines D.C., the Irish post-punk band hailed by Elton John as “the best band out there at the moment.” Known for their poetic lyrics and dynamic performances, the group will bring tracks from their acclaimed fourth album, Romance, to the TRNSMT stage.

The day’s lineup also includes indie heavyweights The Kooks, electronic pioneers Underworld, and rising stars Inhaler. Pop sensation Sigrid, songwriter Jake Bugg, and genre-blending artist Biig Piig are also confirmed to perform.

Sunday: Snow Patrol and Gracie Abrams Close the Festival

The weekend will culminate with Snow Patrol, who return to headline Sunday with their iconic hits like Chasing Cars. Rising star Gracie Abrams, fresh from her role as a supporting act on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, will also take the stage, bringing her chart-topping hits to Glasgow.

Sunday’s lineup features a mix of nostalgic favorites and emerging talent, including 90s rockers Shed Seven, indie favorites The Lathums, and singer-songwriters like Nina Nesbitt and Rianne Downey.
